I called my closest Scheels yesterday to see if they still had any 8 lb jugs of Retumbo I saw a month or so ago. The man I talked to said they didn't, but he DID have Varget and H4350 for the same price, $349. I asked him to hold two Varget and one 4350 for me and I would get them today. In addition, they also had StaBall 6.5 HD in 8 lbs for the same price.
After tax, it figured out to $48/lb. One pound bottles were $50.99 at Scheels. At my LGS Varget is $58 and 4350 is $55. I'm in good shape for a while with this and the powders I already have.

I scored a 1000 CCI 200s from Sportsman Warehouse a few days ago. They have been rare to get it seems you have to go about 3 months to see any type of large rifle primers show up locally.

Thanks guys. I talked to the man who runs my lgs and he said that is $38 less per jug than he can buy it for. We speculate Scheels buys direct from Hodgdon, bypassing the middle man and the associated price increase.

My lgs has an 8 lb H4350 on the shelf, $480.

Anyway, I'm happy.
