160 gr Sierra GK HP in 7mm-08

I shot a few guns at my range today to test some new loads. I was pleased with the 3 shot groups I got with my Tikka T3 7mm-08. 2 through same hole and one above which may have been me. Other group with 2/10 gr less powder was 0.662". I tinker some more. I love this stuff !!

You were supposed to subtract .284" which would have put your group in the 3's. Now that should make you smile!

Nice shooting. That's the next bullet I want to try in my 280. I've had similar results to yours with my T3 30-06 and the 165 gr HPBT gameking.

Gosh I feel stupid ! I had been shooting 260 Rems all day too though. Thanks for catching it .

Good shooting! The 160 gr Gameking shoots really well out of my 280 Rem. I'll have to give the HP version a look.

That bullet has been awesome from my .30-06 as well, dynamite on elk. I've never tried it in my 7mm08 tho-based on your results, maybe I better give it a spin!
