180g .338 bal. tip

has nosler discontinued production of this bullet ?or will you be since the 180g AccuBond has arrived?

The .338-180 grain Ballistic Tip is no longer in production as is the .338-200grain Ballistic Tip. However, the .338-200grain Ballistic Silvertip is still being produced.

The AccuBond will take the place of both in our line.

Why are they getting rid of those two particualr bullets?

i don't have a .338 currently, but have thought about one in handgun form several times. reports say that the 180gr balistic tips work great in .338JDJ.
heard a .338 federal(on .308 case) is comin out too. shooters need more bullet options.....not less

But Nosler has to make money, and if it doesn't sell enough 180s to be profitable, why should it lose money? Would you do that? Probably not. In today's marketplace, if you can't turn your money around quickly enough you lose. Dead inventory is expensive..... :roll:
