Scotty I saw you make a post here. I just hope you notice how well that 30-06 treats people. Once they shoot it they fall head over heals for that round!

Atta boy, David. Looking out for our boy Scotty.
Just trying to pay back all the kindness and love I've been shown here myself. :p

Now that is marrying material!!

Way to go Guy!

I agree with Pat. this is the first thing you should have said to the boyfriend.

Guy, god bless you for working with her. That was a very nice thing for you to do.

Get her a 30-06. As I have mentioned in the past, a 30-06 was my first and only rifle when I started hunting and with no regrets. Get her one of those rifles from that company by David. I believe a Montana rifle in a 30-06 would make her very happy and serve her well for many years.

The 30.06 will always be my favorite caliber since it was my first and even though it doesn't see much action anymore I still like to get her out and shoot her every now and then. I have an older model wood stocked 700 ADL manufactured in the 80's. I glass bedded the action years ago and it has an excellent trigger with the factory iron sights but I do have it scoped up. It shoots the Nosler 165gr Partition into tiny little bug holes and has taken countless deer over the years. It's all scratched up and worn but man what a rifle!
