Those will work for small to mid sized game, those must be Ballistic Silvertip seconds judging from the different color tip.

Jake,

Nicely done. That is one tough bullet.

Terrific expansion and good penetration!

That should be a quick killer. 2900+ fps is great too. Very impressive load.

That's a very impressive load Jake. I run the 200 ABs at 3000 from my Win Mag and they are also pretty accurate. Great jug test.

I think once I do a bit of work on the trigger it will be pretty phenomenal. Last 3 shots two were in 1/2" third I pulled bad. Best part is you can shoot it all day long.

Jake, once you get that trigger tuned up some, I think you are really going to like it. I actually LIGHTLY stoned with an India stone the engagement surface on my Pre 64. I didn't actually hammer on it. Just smoothed the tooling marks on it. It lightened the pull and went to 0 creep. I actually went through a did a few others with excellent results. If you have the patience to do it, it is worth it, as was the Ernie's the Gunsmith trigger springs, but to be honest, if you lightly stone the mating surface to minimize and smooth the tooling marks, I think you'll get where you want to be with the stock spring. I found quite a bit of weight was due to friction, and once smoothed, it didn't need a whole lot of adjustment.

There you go Fotis.

Jake what is the barrel length? looks like your getting 300fps more than the 338-06 A square.

24" 2950 is leaning on her with a 200 I can get 2800 outta a 225 but again that's leaning on her. 2750 is more than acceptable.

Nah I just keep flip flopping between the Whelen and the 338-06 but I think I have convinced myself to go with the Whelen with the help of some friends here.

Here are a couple of shots of the 200BT I filed down a few years ago.

The two smaller ones are the 95 BT and 150 BT (.277)

Pretty thick jacket on them.
