You should also consider the 375 H&H Mag.

My initial thoughts and reply to this is, "isn't there enough rifles already chambered in 30-06." Good lord. How about something different, 25-06, 7mm WSM, nothing wrong with a 300 Win Mag.

As long as Nosler is making short run rifles with a flair for the unique, how about something like a .308 Norma Magnum? A ballistic equal for the 300WM, but definitely more interesting at the camp house. Or maybe a .358Norma mag for all those guys who want a medium bore.

Something new in a good elk cartridge might be the .375 Ruger. You know how enamored people are with new stuff.
