I would have to kill 20 of these little Va deer to equal a small moose. I can't imagine how much meat you are going to end up with. I shot a 45" bull moose in 1995 and we were eating moose for at least two years! Scotty

Moose is one of my favourite meats. I also supply meat to my daughter and her family (six children); her husband is a good fisherman, but he doesn't hunt. The grandchildren really love wild game. Right now our economy is in pretty good shape here in the Peace Country. However, in the past I was often called on to help people out of work, and so meat was sometimes supplied to families in distress. So moose, elk, venison and bison go pretty quickly from our home.
