I usually start my WT Deer scouting around this time of year just to get a feel of what is hanging out in the area. There are a couple nice bucks out back including a wide 13 pt with split brow tines. I am on a learning curve using my Leupold 12-40x60mm spotting scope and a digital camera so I hope to get some better quality pictures to share with you.

Cool pictures. don't worry about the quality of you pics, I haven't posted one ever. Pictures are great, fresh venison is better. My archery season starts in 5 weeks.

The herd looks healthy. Seeing the game moving about certainly gets the blood pumping and the desire to hunt begins to burn hot.

Jim, those have to get your blood pumping a little eh? I know the trail cam pics my buddy has been sending are getting me wound up a little! Scotty

There WILL be meat in your locker and a nice rack on the wall too judging by the pictures.

I saw several bucks this evening NW of my house and hunting area. One bean field I had to stop and look, both were 10 pts in the 140 class. Really nice bucks! No camera.

Looking Good JD -

I get about one good pic out of every 10 I take just by holding the camera up to the spotting scope.

I know what you mean. Wish I had my spotting scope and camera earlier tonight for those two nice bucks. The one had 7-8' brow tines!
I am going to go back there soon and "scope them out".
