Yes, smaller bulls are better eating...and they usually weigh less than a big bull, which is a plus when packing!
As we age, we become smarter hunters!
Not sure if the meat tastes better when shot with handloads vs factory ammo...but there is a sense of pride that comes from the accomplishment.
And the meat always tastes better at the table, long after the pain and struggle of the work has gone from the muscles that has done the work!
And then there is the memories you'll recall in the years to come as you look upon that Euro mount of that bull hanging on the wall, remembering the day, and the adventure shared with your hunting partner. Priceless!
