Have yet to get my hands on any of the 210 ABLR's. From my research. it'd BC is closer to .630 9about the same as a 210 Berger VLD. ) But, I would much rather have the terminal effects of a AB than a Berger. Plus, I just had a brand new barrel chambered for .050 freeborn. Seems like a good compromise between a 215 Berger and a 225 gr ABLR

My wish list for bullets for next year



.224 AB of 50-55 grains something that will shoot out of 14 twist that a lot of us have in our 22 hot rods.
.224 ETip that will shoot out of a 14 screw just to be able to save a few pelts from time to time

.358 ABLR somewhere between 225-240 or so grains so it will shoot in a 16 twist something to give us 35 shooters (35 Whelen 358 win and 350 rem mag) more reach to go with our big hunks of flying lead.


.308 Btip of 200-220 grains with a nice heavy shank for us 300 win mag shooters who want to reach out in high winds on top of a mountain and smoke a once in a lifetime bighorn Sheep

.264 Etip 100 grains for the smaller .264's

Prefer a 108 gr ABLR so you can sell it as a target/hunting bullet.

Or a 90 gr E-Tip.

Here's one for ya.

Try and get the BC around .465 like the 108 Scenar. Instead of an empty nose like the SMK and Scenar give it a long poly nose to match the 108 Scenars length and BC. The nose doesn't have to be as long as the 750 gr A-MAX but .30 to .40" long. Been wondering the last couple years why poly noses are so short when high BCs sell bullets.

As a bonus, because the junction between the nose and core is a larger diameter the bullet will be extremely easy to tune. Want to make it a varmint bullet, make the cavity and poly insert larger. The hunting bullet gets a smaller cavity and poly insert. The smallest cavity version is for the larger/higher velocity cartridges either target or hunting. Otherwise it's the same jacket, core, length, BC and therefore cheaper to produce.

Having the BSB bullets in a protected point style would be nice maybe even a boattail design kind of like the Fedreal Fusion but much tougher of course.

With all these new bullets starting to come out, it gets me to thinking and wishing for next year.
This is the time to let Nosler see what you want/need for next year.

You know boys one thing about living in this lead free country...it makes the wish list a whole lot shorter and easier.

How about a 210 gr. .358 E-tip with a decent BC

A 250gr. Lead free pistol bullet than I can use in both my .44 magnum Redhawk and my 444P Marlin

Also a 225 or 230gr. E tip for my .340 Weatherby would be much appreciated lol

Almost forgot...something lead free and 300+ grains for my 45-70

This, I would happily settle for 220s in regular ABs but the ABLRs in .323 would be the cat's pajamas.

I got my G&A magazine in yesterday and they had an article about how Nosler is selling loaded ammo and tapping a low sales but yet high income niche market on stuff like that. I've bought their loaded ammo before and it is pricey, but it's damn good too. So, I don''t need their loaded ammo any more but bring on the 220s in .323.
