Well all after several years of hunting my pants off, I was fortunate enough to take a big buck, took the buck with my Rem 700 260 rem, and 125 Partitions, my boy and I had a super fun hunt and made lots of good memories with family. We were tracking another buck when my boy spotted this big boy bedded down trying to get out of the drizzling rain. The buck suddenly jumped from his bed, my boy fired and just missed and I found and opening and waited for my opportunity and made the best of it, down he went. After a 200 yard dash up the hill through the trees thinking oh crap, I shot a smallish 4 point, and well to my surprise there was ground enlarge instead of shrinkage, by boy told me as we were running he was heavy and tall, but I was unsure. But I was truly blessed to take such a beautiful buck. 8x5 30" wide
