0.100" jump seems to be the sweet spot for my rifle and this bullet. Really liking how they're shooting, gotta quit throwing a shot though! Gonna try bumping up the charge to gain a little more velocity, if the groups open up, I'll keep her where she's at and magneto chrono it! Load seems to be coming together very easily, which is the way I like it!

That is a fine group. I've found that in the 270 WSM and in the 280 Rem, the ABLR likes a 0.100 inch jump, same as you report.

That's encourging. A friend of mine is frustrated with a 7mm Rem Mag and 168 ABLR's, he has only jumped them 0.040" though, I will tell him to try 0.100" jump.

My limited experience leads me to allow a pretty good jump to the lands. I haven't loaded these for the 7RM yet, but I would be inclined to allow at least 0.100 inches jump.

That's great stuff Brian. Excellent accuracy out of those bullets. Happy they are working so well for you.

I'm looking forward to seeing if you can gain a little speed from them. They should really do well out long.

Looks like you are honing in on a good load. My only experience with the ABLR bullet has been with the 129 gr 6.5mm and surprise it worked best .110" from the lands. Others have had success closer but mine did well there. That should make a formidable long range load in that big 300 of yours.

Wasn't sure if they'd shoot or not based on what I've read but they seem to shoot just fine. Really hoping I can get the velocity up and smash one through a big bulls shoulder this fall. Took 10 years to draw this tag so I'm going to hold out for a big guy! Should be a great combo for across canyon elk!
