.22 60 gr bt

I don't know BC yet, waiting on my RG #6.
I have been told by Nosler that this bullet will stabalize in a 1:14 twist 22-250. 3500-3600 fps should get it done.

Has anybody shot the New .224 cal 60 gr BT's yet?
Any experience with this bullet in a 1:14 twist?

I'm wanting to give them a try in my M700 VLS 22-250 1:14 twist.

JD,
Look on the bright side...this is a perfect opportunity to buy a new Model 7 Predetor version just so you can shoot those 60grainers.

Disappointing
I was hoping for a better BC than that, but the 60gr. V-Max that my RRA likes so much has a BC of .265, so at least it is a small improvement. I will give them a try.

Heads up on the 60gr BT

My 22-250 has a VERY long throat.I can't seat 55gr BT's out to the lands because there is not enough of the bullet left in the case. :( So I got thinking about the 60gr BT,and thought even though I can't get to the lands at least I could get closer. :)

So I ordered a box from midway.The order came in today along with some 90gr 243 BT's and 130gr 270 BT's :) First thing I seen on the box....7"-10" twist only. :(

Also they have a cannalure on the bullet  I HATE cannalures on my bullets. Its like taking a Z06 corvette and putting mudflaps on it.

Just thought I would pass on the info so no one else make the same mistake.

I think I'll stick with the 55 gr bts 267 vs 270 is not enough to worry about.
