221 Fireball brass

Anybody know where it can be bought.....Midway is out and has no idea when it will become available again. :?:

It is my understanding that Rem will not be making any 221 brass until mid 2008. Every supplier I know of is out. We will just have to wait until Rem comes through with a new supply.

Thanks for the info.....it's too bad, I was looking at a CZ in a 221 thought it would be a fun gun to shoot but guess I'll wait until brass becomes available......

mbmm, how serious are you about that 221? Our local Cablela's had some in stock a week ago. I could probably be persuaded to go out Monday evening and pick some up for you if it is still in stock.

I just called. He couldn't find any left, but I plan on going out this evening and check for myself anyway. The price listed on the site is $31.99 per 100. The cost if they have some, will be that plus 7.375% tax and a few bucks to ship it. I'll let you know tonight if I had success or not.

Sorry, no 221 Fireball left. The tag is gone and has been replaced with 35 Remington brass.

Any thoughts of using 222 Rem brass? A 50/100 count bag would be a lot of work trimming and sizing but it could tide you over until Remington brass becomes available? Just a thought.........

seen some a week ago in Red Deer Alberta at some local sporting goods store. Was a bit pricey, but I thought they had 3 or 4 bags of 50. I was just passing thro for work I live some 55o km away, but if you know people around there or there is someone on here that is feeling helpful

I have a bag of never fired 221 that was sized to 17cal. A tapered expander and lube could make it happen. Let me know if you want it.Rick.
