.223 53gr V-Max loads

Anyone have any go-to loads for this combo? Not for a AR so OAL isn’t an issue. Have H335, varget, BLC2 sitting on my shelf off the top of my head, maybe a couple more. Anyone know if this bullet likes jump or jam?

Yes! Good combo with Varget, although I found slightly better results with Benchmark.
Mine is Tikka T3 1:8"
53gr V-Max, Fed205, 24.5gn Benchmark, 2.289 COAL
53gr V-Max, Fed205, 24.0gn Varget, 2.289
I had no luck with jump in mine, so kissing lands produced my best 5 shot group at 100metres of 6.94mm/0.27"

By the way...Nosler 55gr BTips shot better [emoji6]

I using a 53gr V Max load of V 133 powder duplicating Hornadys Superformance load.
I found the 53gr V Max more accurate in my Rifle, other bullets I tried 40gr Nosler BT, 55gr Nosler BT & Sierra 55 gr Blitz King.
At 200 yards average of three five shot groups .77 inch.
I have settled on it for my Coyote and Praire Dog load.
I use 40gr Nosler BT for my Night load for calling low noise load of Blue Dot.

24.6 Benchmark, Lapua brass, CCI BR-4, 2.27. I believe thats about 20 jump in that rifle.

Awesome! Thanks folks! Got a great deal on 500 of these suckers so I bought them, the 55gr BT has always shot great in this fun. Hope these will too. I’ll get to loading!
