225gr Ballistic Tips loading tips for the 358 WIn....

I was thinking about building an 358 win on a yugo mauser. I would have plenty of room in the magazine (max of 3.19") for the ballistic tips. This rifle would mainly be shooting paper and interactive targets (melons, rocks etc.) For hunting elk (someday) I would most likely use the either 225 or the 250gr partitions.

As long as your magazine will accept longer cartridge lengths, you will be fine with the 225 BT

RL-7 worked the best for us.

34.0 at just under 2100fps.
