Got out to the range and tried some 100gr Hornady SP and Barnes 85gr TSX

There are a couple of very promising loads in those groups. Either the 85 grain TSX with 48 g of H100V and the Hornady 100 g SP with 51 g of H4831 should be a genuine encouragement for you. What sort of velocities were you seeing?

Didn't run them over the chrono yet. Will hopefully get out again soon and will see what they clock. I am kinda leaning towards the TSX. Should be devastating on deer!

Got out to the range and the 48gr Hybrid 100v load averaged 3400fps from my 24" barrel and still grouped nicely.
