How do you guys feel about this combo for Whitetails out to about 350 yards? Maybe a chance at 400 but rarely.
I've been thinking about another rifle. I don't have a .243 right now but I've got dies, some brass and some bullets.
As I get older a lighter rifle, a lighter kicking rifle, starts to sound appealing. Plus, being lefthanded the .243 is available in a lot more rifles than some others I'm thinking about.

I think that will make a bunch of meat!!
I've had really good performance on whitetails with 85-100 he bullets out to 300+ yards

It'll be terrific imo.
Good combo.
I shoot the 95 BT thru my 6 mm Rem but only because it liked it better than the AB

They will work!

This is a 4-shot group @ 500 yards. 90 AB's being pushed by 43.5 gr of IMR 4350. This out of my Wby Vanguard S2 w/ 24" barrel.

I run the 90ABs and 95 BTs from my sons 243. Both are accurate and great deer Bullets.

Nosler makes several GREAT 6mm hunting bullets...

Posts here have included big game from pronghorn - elk with .243 and 6mm rifles.

My son has been dropping whitetail and mule deer with the 6mm for some time now - usually with the 95 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip - which just happens to be our favorite 6mm bullet - but I've got NOTHING against the 90 grain AccuBond... It ought to be terrific!

The light recoil of the little cartridge is wonderful - and accuracy usually is as well. Here's a link to a good article on handloading for the .243 Win:

I shoot the 90gr AccuBond in my rem 700 .243 win. After 40+ years it still groups well under moa. I load 48.5 grs of Reloder 22 in a winchester case and federal primer for a tad over 3100 fps.
