243 AND THE 90 GRAIN E-TIP

Loaded 4 different powders and all grouped together under a inch and a half. best was 1/2 a inch with reloader 25 of 42grns for 2900 fps. Love the bullet and that gun.For the record i was no where near the lands, i treat all guns with alot of free bore.I believe i will try some more e-tips in my larger guns.Again nosler another great product, if it were not for the competitive nature of north america things word never change. 8)

Soulds like a good load. The E-Tip likes a lot of jump. Best resuls are .100" off the lands.

[6mm Remington]

Weatherby, I'm using the H100V in my son's 6mm Remington and it sure seems to like it with that bullet. Federal 210 primers and Winchester cases. Have you tried the H100V before? I think I might just try some of those in my Ruger #1B for fun even though the Partition works so well. The E-tip has just a slightly higher BC than even the 10 gr. Heavier Partition!

Mine and a buddy shoot this powder with 90 and 95gn better by almost half on the group sizes.

H100V i have note tried, maybe some day, i have so much powder now i have no room for any guns. :lol

What speeds are you getting?

22" barrel on his Ruger MKII Fotis and it clocks at right about 3140-3160 fps. Don't recall the load right now, but this evening I'll check that at home and PM you with the load I use in his rifle.
