.25-.284 & 110 Accubonds

Anyone shooting this bullet in a .25-.284?I'm working up an antelope load for this fall.I know that case capacity is virtually the same as the 25-.06,but am wondering if anyone has a pet load they'd like to share? Thanks,Monashee

For the 25-284 nothing with the AccuBond yet. Other bullets like H4831 in preliminary testing.

I want to try some of the reloder 17 that works so well in the
6.5-284 in the 25-284.

Retumbo in my 25-270 give best velocity with the 110 AccuBond.

I load for my wife's 25-06 and have just started playing with the 110 gr. AccuBond. All I have ever used was the 120 gr. Partition with IMR4350, 49.0 grs.

I have not tried loading much with the 110's, but IMR4350, H4831SC, and H100V all looked like they might work pretty good. If I draw a sheep or goat tag this year after 33 years of applying, I think that's the rifle I will use. I better get those 110's figured out. Hard to beat the Partition though!! Good luck........

.25-284?? How do you attach that .25 pill to all that powder :lol: . No wonder you need an AB!! CL

Pop you keep singing the praises of the Reloder powders for my 6mm, now the 25/284 which would be the same as my 25-06, and other cartridges. I just didn't have the results with RL19 in my .280 so I haven't played with any RL powders since. There must be something to it though, so I guess I'll have to give it a try. In this calibers we've been talking about you must be getting great velocity with excellent accuracy. I believe you told me in your 6mm it was 3200 fps plus with 100 grain bullet and about 1.5 inch groups at 300 yards if I remember correctly.

With this slow powder, are you using magnum primers in the 6mm and the 25-06, and others? :?
