I have a ton of respect for the nosler Partition however I like the plastic tipped bullets as I dont need to worry about deformed tips.

When shooting the 110 gr AccuBond out of my 257 bee I feel confident in the fact I will develop a load and utilize it to its full potential.

Should I bother trying to get the partitions to shoot? Will it do anything more than the AccuBond does that 10 grs of lead matter?

I am getting close to having to decide which way to jump here and I am begining to second guess myself

The 110 gr AB is a tough bullet and it will get the job done for you.
If you have any doubts, go with the 115 gr PT and don't look back.

Good grief! You're going to shoot a deer right?

Find something that shoots well from your rifle, zero it at your chosen range and go kill a deer with it! All those Noslers will work if you do your part.

Or better yet, send it my way! I will field test the heck out of it for ya!! Just kidding, Guy and Jim are right on, I can't see either bullet letting you down at all! You are shooting two of the best bullets out there. You are going to cream any deer that walks with that lazer gun! Scotty

thx thats what I need confidence. I just dont want to F^*@ this hunt up!

Shooting either Nosler PT or AB, put it where it needs to go and you won't have to worry.

Ok now does anyone have the inside knowledge to know if the proshop has any 257 accubonds coming anytime soon?

I know I know I am thrifty ( I didnt say cheap)

I agree with JD338 on this,,,,
I wouldn't also worry about tip/meplat deformation on the Partition. That would come into play at extreme ranges, way beyond normal to long hunting senarios.
I had seen results of a test done where this guy shot fresh out of the box Partitions. In his load, he was averaging 3/4" groups at a 100 yds. Then he proceeded to deform the meplat in varying degree's from a nick to nearly bending it over with a plier. His groups never went over an 1". Then he took a knife blade and put a barely visible nick in the base. His groups went over 2".
Now I believe in accuracy first, but also know it can be carried to the extreme. Those extremes generally are only warranted in target competition.

110gr AB at 257 bee speeds will stack up the deer. Although not my recommendation, either of the bullets you mentioned would also be marginal for elk.
