Just added a Vanguard S2 stainless to my collection and looking for suggestions on loads for upcoming deer season. I have been hearing H1000, RL25 and 7828 are good powders. I have a variety of bullets ranging from 90gr GMX up to 120gr PT.

120 Partitions and RL25 went together like peas and carrots in my brothers 257 Weatherby.

Dont sleep on h4831sc. It's easy to find and excels in the 257,270 &7 mm weatherby case.

I have an S2 in 25-06, it is a great rifle. Mine likes 80grn and 100grn Barnes TTSX with RL17 and RL22.
