260 gr Accubonds in .375 JDJ

Still working loads up for my Contender. I have a 14 inch SSK barrel and am getting 2050 fps with outstanding accuracy.

I'm very curious as to terminal performance with these bullets. I did read on this board that they were intended for mv's of 2500+ fps. Anyone have any experience with them on game at lower velocities?

I used the 260 AccuBond on white tail deer this fall. I have a 23 inch carbine barrel. I shot a fine 8 point at about 50 yards with this setup. The Bullet just crushed the front shoulder blade area. The deer made it about 40 yards on what was left of the 3 remaining legs. I was hard to tell how well it expanded but because it blew right through but it leaves a very nice blood trail.
