I bought like 20 boxes of the 140 b tips when they where on the pro shop last year. I love to plink with them .

I would love the load info.

rifles are the same for sure, except mine has a Schmitt and bender scope on it.

What is your load with the 140 BT's? Have you tried to just replace the bullet with the AB?

When I get home, I will pass you the info.

Man, you just had to rub in the Schmidt and Bender part huh?

FWIW, I would have bought a 700 Sendero in 264 Win Mag a few years ago from a forum member here but he sold be before I knew it was for sale.

Fotis,

That was one sweet shooter you had. Stephen used it to shoot a nice speed goat too.

Yup!

140 VLD at 3060 fps. Stephie nailed that buck at 277 yards.

Has anyone tried Ramshot Magnum in this cartridge? Seems like it performs well in "over-bore" type cartridges suchs as the STW, RUMs, etc. Just curious...

tried some re 25 , latter test and the like, found a pretty promising concoction. a tight triangle under an inch with the 140 AccuBond.

ME LIKEY!

cant wait to send that medicine After that big white tail I've been eying.

thanks guys

3.295 AB

3.290 BT

Yellow Dog just measured the COAL and that's what I'm getting. 67.6 RL25, Nosler cases, CCI250's and I have a node where it shoots well + or - .3 of a grain. Figured I'd just shoot it right in the middle.

I tried it in mine but Retumbo proved to be better. It is worth a try however if you have some kicking around, others have had good sucess with it.

Sounds like you are well on your way to a good load, nice.

Man, with all these pics of some fine 264s...I can hardly wait for mine. I just received an update from Shawn and it should be ready by the end of the month!

Now for the better news, Nosler was nice enough to give me one w/a 26" barrel!!! That's right, a brand new Nosler Legacy in a 264 Win Mag sporting a 26" tube.

One question for Scotty: how far off the lands did you seat the 140 AccuBond? Thanks,

That sounds like a heck 'uv a deal. Congratulations. Of course, we'll all want to see the rifle when you get it and watch your load development.

Nice! I will check on how far off the rifling I am with ABs. Might take me a few hours, but I'll get it.

That's great news that Nosler is putting a 26" barrel on your rifle. That should be a screamer.

Killdeer,
Congrats on your Legacy. Believe me, you're going to love it! Keep us posted on how it shoots and we all love pics!
