I shot this on a hot(100*+), windy day from a bench with only a sandbag under the forearm. The rifle was a Ruger tang safety M77 with a Timney trigger and a Douglas SS barrel. I was hot and miserable in the sun but the load looks good and fast. Five shots at 100 yards. Leupold 3.5X10X40 duplex scope.

That appears to be a great load! It should work very nicely for you.

I would be all done with load development with a group like that.

Nice work. I've always been interested in a 264 WM. It just sounds cool.

It's a cartridge that really fits in those big spaces of Nebraska! High BC bullets whipped out really quick. It'll make them deer shiver when you run the bolt!

Great looking load, just right for wide open spaces and the 140 gr PT is a tough bullet that can handle any shot, near or far.

Jim, that 264 Win Mag is pretty slick huh...

Yes it is. One day there will be a M70 Super Grade 264 Win Mag in my safe.

If you can repeat that group at much lower temps then you have a winner. If you can't then you may need to add more powder to raise the pressure up to where it was when it was 100+*. I am shooting the 130 AccuBond at 3350 fps with Retumbo in my 264 Win mag that is a Rem 700 Shilen barrel 27 3/4" long. Talk about shooting flat and it really thumps a deer. BANG FLOP.
