Alaska, I tried that link just now and it would not work for me. My computer said that the page could not be displayed.
I just put a new scope on my Model 70 Super Shadow Camo chambered in 270 WSM and went to the range this morning to sight it in.
Using a load of 66 grains of RL 22 in a Win case and fired by Fed 215M primers, Nosler 140 Partitions performed pretty darned well, I thought. I fired three groups of three shots each and they measured 0.77, 0.65, and 0.63 inches. The velocity averages were right at 3200 fps. Pretty darned fast for a 140 from a 270.
The only thing I have shot with this new rifle so far was a wild hog of maybe 150 pounds. I shot him with a 140 AccuBond using 65 grains of RL 22 and he dropped on the spot. Good bullet performance.
This gun just shoots the Partitions better, they are all different.
