First timer to this forum.I have two questions. Can the max load be safely increased when using coated bullets.
Will nosler/winchester ever produce AB with lublox coating for reloaders?

Shaw,

Welcome to the forum.

The reloading manuals are guides only, every rifle has its own max load. Having said that, it is strongly recommended that you always start low and work up while watching for all the pressure signs. Your rifle may show signs of excessive pressure before you even reach the published MAX load.

I have never used any of the coatings and have had excellent accuracy with PT's, BT's, and AB's, shooting sub MOA in all calibers I shoot. I load for accuracy first, velocity second.

It should be noted that Nosler's load data includes data for the CT BST, and it is the same as for the original BST. Going above listed max load data is not recommended by any handloading manual publisher. If you choose to do so, you do so at your own risk. Other than that, it's up to you.

I doubt you'll see much in the way of improvement in accuracy and velocity going outside book data versus staying within it, but that's just my opinion.

Thankyou for your commits.
I am currently loading 1gr over max with H4831sc and 130 BST.Acuracy improved .25 over previous load with no pressure signs.I had been told that with coated bullets you could increase max load by 2-3 grains.
I love the BST bullet past 200 yds any closer and it is a little bit explosive.

What are your velocities?
The speed you are getting will give you a hint at where you stand pressure wise. It isn`t cut in stone but, usually is a better clue then primers, extraction, ect......If you are near/at book max velocity you are probably at book max pressure for the same load.

I've worked up loads to max with BST, and found I had to back off a few grains when I switched back to regular BT.

Thanks for everyones input.May be best to leave well enough alone .75to1.0 groups@3180to3200fps.Would like to see .5 or better groups but the deer I hunt will never know the diffrence.

Try adjusting your seating depth. When you find the sweet spot, the results might surprise you.
