Hey Nosler how about making one of these some time? Would be really cool if the WSM and weatherby guys could get a bullet with a BC over .500 some how!

I agree, a 150 gr AB would be a great offering! The 140 gr AB has a BC of .496, a 150 gr AB would be better yet.

A 140 gr E-Tip would be cool. 8)

Yes, the 140 Acc flyes very good

With the growth in popularity of the .277 cartridges, I would think there is a market for these bullets. I know that I would be trying the heavier E-Tip, and likely add the heavier AB to my inventory.

I'll take a little slower, heavier bullet with a better BC anyday. If a guy could get 3075-3150 out of a 150 AB that woulbd be a pretty dang cool load.
My logic could be flawed here but the 130 AB has a BC of .435, the 140 AB has a BC of .496. the difference is .061. So would it make since that if we were going to get a longer bullet in the same diamiter that the BC would increase at the same rate? If so that would but a 150 AB in the .557 range. Not sure how accurate that is, maybe somebody can chip in that knows more about it than I do.

My SWAG for the BC of a .277 cal 150 gr AB would be .525.
That would make a 270 WSM really sing.
