Alright, I have decided to try those 120's in my .280 Steyr Prohunter. Does anyone have any pet loads they would like to share? Thanks in advance.

I have real good luck with Viht N-165 with both the 120's & 150gr B-tips.
Seems to be about a middle ground powder, but consistent.

The only powder I have used in the .280 with the 120 NBT is R-15. I needed a reason to use up some R-15. Accracy was fantastic, but velocity was just under 3100fps at just under listed max in the Nosler book. Something in the lines of IMR 4831, AA3100, or VV160 is where I would look for top veloclity loads. POP showed more choices than a guy could use in lifetime. Man, that software is sweet! I use these as my "off season" loads at the range, coyotes, rabbits or whatever.

IMR 4831 and RL-19 has worked well in my rifle using 139gr SST's both of these loads shoot under MOA and the 4831 shot .591". After seeing some results of the 120's on another forum I decided to give them try. I am not a big BT fan for big game but the 120's are suppose to be pretty tough since it has the same jacket as the 140's.
