.280 range day

Got to finally shoot a group with my .280 clean bore before I shot. 1 fooling. 2 and 6 I pulled really bad. But 3-5 are beautiful! 52.5 gr of IMR-4350 and 140BT group measures .276 @ 100yd. Now if I can just shoot it enough to get to the point where I can shoot as good as the gun! I think you could call this a pet load.

Ballistic Tips have always shot well for me, and IMR 4350 is a great propellant for the .280. You've done quite well. Your rifle is giving you bragging size groups and your technique appears to be solid. Congratulations.

Even when I jerk the trigger its consistent. Maybe that will be the thing to do next get a timmney.

Those look pretty good. Even with the pulled shot and fouler your still hovering around an inch. Scotty

Just have to love the .280 Remington! Mine sure liked IMR4350 also! Nice shooting.

I have used that same load with similar results. It is indeed a pet load.
