Whats the first loads you have cooked up for it? You have any idea of what bullets you wanna shoot? Gotta a couple of good loads around for my 270WSM if I can assist you at all. RL22/Magpro and IMR7828 seemed to work pretty well for me with 130-150's.
That was the first load. I used Nosler data for their 150gr to start with this 140gr Barnes. I had a box of the old style "X" bullets I thought I'd use up first to see what worked best before using up the new TTSX 140gr I had stashed. Not sure I need to look too far for the right combo now. I have to use lead free Condor friendly bullets so I've been limited. I've used "X" type bullets since the late 80's IIRC. Never had anything go more than a foot or so after being hit. I'll probably give the E-Tips a try. I used RL-22 in my plain 280 and liked the results but the powder seemed temp sensitive.
