I received as an early X-mas gift a new Leupold 6 X 18 with the LRV Duplex in it. I've been all excited all week to get it mounted on my M-700 VTR .223 and go play. I somewhat sighted in @ 50yds then moved out to 100yds. The Right top three are the first three shots. I used the Big Game Info sight with the ballistics calculator to figure out where I needed to be @ 100 for a 200 zero. ( Wow.. works fairly well ) !! I needed to be 1.6 high at 100 so I dialed it down and shot three more... ( bottom right --- don't ask what happened to the last shot... the low one  )
I then moved it out to 200 ( the red sticky on the box and pretty much dead on ) ?? Moved it out to 300 and went 3 for 3 on some clay piegons I had found..... Needless to say, I like the new scope

Took the M-700 .260 to ensure it was 1.6 high @ a hundred as well for next weeks elk tag that my Dad has. Three shots with the 130gr A-bonds @ .400 C/C w/the fist two through the same hole...( It's ready ) NOW I NEED MORE 130 GRAIN A-BONDS ??????????????????

Also took Dad's 7mag with 140gr A-Bonds. I was able to capture one in the 5th milk-jug....96.8 grains remaining
I've seen nothing but cosistency though all the different calibers of A-bonds I've shot.... ( Phenominal Nosler ) !!

Nicely done Powerstroke. You have those rifles tuned like a race car.
The 140 gr AB sure looks good, perfect mushroom.
Good luck on the late season elk hunt.

You've got em dialed in for sure. Accubonds are probably the ultimate bullet until they are replaced by green peace bullets (no lead). I swear by them in all the calibers that they make them in.
Good Hunting
Elkhunt

I might have to look into some E-tips... they are about the only thing I can find on the shelves right now.....

I actually like the accuracy of the B-tips better than the A-bonds and have a great load for the .260 with 100gr B-tips. 3400 fps on an elk shoulder though and I don't think those results would be in my favor.... A-bond to the rescue.
