I was surfing SPS and saw these bullets and wondered what they would be good for.

Punching paper. All that I've shot proved extremely accurate.

I also haven't used them, as I shoot the 155s and 168s in my 30-06.
I remember reading somewhere they're ideally suited for slower twist rates in competition shooting with .308s. Something like 1 in 13 twist barrels, and old sniper rifle competitions or something. But I'm not sure where I found that.
I would think they would also work for 30 AAC-isn't that a smaller case cartridge?
Not to say I couldn't shoot them out of my 30-06, but I don't know that they fill a need in larger case cartridges.

I suppose they would work in the 300 AAC, although it was designed to handle the 220 grain bullets that will remain subsonic.
