Scotty I finally got to shoot some of the 200gr Noslers you sent me.
So I loaded up the BT with 74gr. of RL 22 and some AB with the same load and went to the range today. Here's some pics of how they worked.
The AB load should have been 3 in one hole but I'm using a old office desk for a bench and it is too low for me to support my elbows so my right elbow is chicken winging. Might be why the BT's are spread horizontally.

So on the top target where is your fourth "verifier" round?

I only loaded three rounds since I have a limited supply. I really need to figure out how to improve the top of the old desk so I get a more consistent and steady grip on the rifle right now it's too low and where I have the range set up is a path for the farmer to access his fields on the other side of the woods and it has to be moved after shooting so he can get by with his equipment or I would set it up on blocks which would make it more permanent and not an option . Sometimes I think I would be better off leaning against a tree.

Thanks Fotis I'll remember that. I use to do 5 but with the scarcity of components I cut back to 3.

Looks like you're on to something with the ABs, Rodger. I'd consider working up in powder charge, as 74gr is a good start load but the max load in Nosler #7 is 78gr of RL22. You might even see those groups tighten up with the higher charges. Hope you have enough components to work up and see how good it gets.

On a side note, RL22 was pretty good in my 300'bee, too, but I did notice that at max charge it was a significant jump in recoil versus the mid-charge weight loads. I was caught off guard by that, as I expected recoil to be linear, like the velocity readings, but it was not. It was not unbearable, but just be aware that at max, RL22 may surprise you a little with the overall recoil. Velocity will please the heck out of you, though!
