300 Berger Hybrid OTM

This is the first time loading the 300 Grain Berger Hybrid OTM for my 338 Lapua Ackley. I haven't used nothing but SMK for this rifle so I don't know what to expect. I run the data through my Ballistic program and to my surprised the 300 grain SMK has a bit better performance downrange than the Berger. It's not much but the Berger has a better BC than the SMK so I'm a bit puzzled. I guess the only way to find out is to shoot this thing at long range and we'll see.

I'm interested in this , please post your results . are both starting at the same muzzle velocity ?

I'll chronograph it and verify. I use 95 grains of Retumbo for both. It should start at about the same velocity.
