Well I finally got around to loading some .375 Ruger cartridges up with 300 grain NP. Looking forward to going to the range I'm using H414 for the powder. I picked up 8lbs of it along with my Partitions when I found a store going out of business. The Ruger eats a lot of powder seeing as my next largest case is the .35 Whelen.

The Partitions that I loaded up have a Cannelure is this common in the .375 Partitions? All the pictures I see of this bullet doesn't show it with the cannelure. I've never loaded up any bullets this heavy either, but I'm assuming the bullets I bought were new old stock.

As it turned out the cannelure was almost in the perfect spot for my COL, not that I'm crimping them. Loaded to the cannelure the cartridge length was 3.335" instead of 3.340". I like to load at COL and then tweak the seating depth when I find the load that shows the most potential.

Hopefully will have a range report soon to let you know how they are shooting for me! Would love to see a 300 grain AccuBond as well.
