Anyone worked on this combo?

I have brass prepped and ready to start the process but was hoping to learn from others

And RL33. I would say you'll want something Just as slow as you can get to make them move.

Good luck with them. Take pictures. That will be a serious LR combo if you can get them to come together.

I agree. I plan to do bullet test comparing bullet performance at 300 RUM velocity and 308 as well

I ran some into jugs from the 300 Wby. They should be decent for the long range stuff.

I think the pictures are in the bullet test section.

How do you think they will hold up close range?

From what I've seen, not well. For that reason alone is why I run the AccuBond as it works up close or way out there, either way you're covered.

With real world testing putting the 210 ABLR @ .610 BC and the regular AB being .588 BC I question the purchase of the ABLR's

I am running 200 AB's from my 30-378. 106 Retumbo 3270 fps and .8" at 200 yds.

I agree 100%. Not sure what your intended use of the ABLR bullet is be it for paper or hunting or ranges you intend to shoot. I use my Rum and 200 AB for elk hunting and practice for fun out to 950 yards. I don't want to be wondering IF the bullet will hold up on a close range shot at an elk, I hunt way to hard for that to even be a consideration of thought. Just my .02

I'm getting 3200 with a 200 AccuBond and less than 1/2 moa at 200 yrds, 3 shot group.

The 200 AB has an awesome track record. Seen a few Oregon and Wyoming elk not like them at all!

Yes it does Scotty and besides I don't like to keep fixing things until they're broke.

I agree with that Bill. It's a wicked bullet in a 300.

Yes it is, and in many more calibers. I'm thinking the elk in Idaho aren't going to like them anymore than the elk here in Oregon do.

Without a doubt. That 160 AB put the smacks own on the little cow last year. They are great Bullets.

7mm MSM was it?

Oh yeah. Love that 7 Bill. Makes these big 300's seem meaningless. It's like a 300 Wby with less recoil.

From what I've seen on here Scotty how could you not love it? I'll bet that 160 is moving right along, 3200 ish I'm guessing?

Oh yeah. 3200 with the 160 and 3050 with 175's. Does a lot of stuff well.
