After multiple loads, bullets, powders, seating depths, etc. I've finally found a load that goes under MOA at 100 yards...

Funny thing is, the same load shoots the following bullets all right at 1": 180 Nosler PT, 180 Speer DeepCurl, 180 Sierra BTSP, and 165 Noster PT. Shooting 96.0 grains of H-1000, WLRM primers, and Remington Brass. Each load seems to throw the third shot just a bit, with the heated barrel, but I'm happy with that after all the other load development.

COAL on the Noslers is 3.575" and 3.500" with the Speers. The upper left group is the 180 PT, the bottom right group is the 180 DeepCurl.

Looks like you are there.
With the 300 RUM's flat trajectory and down range power, chances are you won't need that third shot.

I always load 4 rounds. If I get a flyer I throw in A verifier.

Thanks, guys. I like the idea about loading 4 instead of 3...you've sold me.

Make sure you let you barrel cool between shots. The RUM's heat up quick.

FWIW my Ultra does the same thing yours does. In the past I would shoot 2- cold barrel shots, most times are side by side or cutting each other and then call it quits. Never failed me either.
