How would a person know? And what causes that too rapid of fire?
Fotis is correct; he game you excellent advice. Have a competent gun smith examine the throat for erosion. Shooting hot and failing to clean the throat area in particular is a recipe for rapid erosion in overbore cartridges. I have witnessed overbore rifles eroded to the point of impacting accuracy in less than 250 rounds.
