Dialing vs Holdover

I personally like to use crosshairs because its fasters and you dont have to worry about where your dial is if you get multiple chances in quick succession at different distance. I've had it happened a lot and you get bogged down figuring out where you dials are from the last place/distance you dialed. You just have to know at what power your reticle is correct if your shooting SFP scopes, which I prefer. I run TMOA reticles in Leupold VX6's and MOAR-T reticles in Nightforce scopes.

Two other scopes that I am interested in trying, but haven't had the chance to yet, are the Leica Amplus 6 3-18x44i BDC MOA and Zeiss V-4 4-16x44 #68 ZBi Illum - ASV-EASV-W Ballistic Turret.
Of the two, I am leaning more towards the Zeiss as I thinkt the illuminated cross might be nicer for most of my hunting vs the smaller illuminated dot on the crosshair of the Leica.
Anyone tried these? Or compared the two?
Thoughts?

i just mounted one of my kids Leica Amplus 6 3-18×44's on a 7prc with a Defiance Classic action and a Krieger barrel. I'm in the middle of chambering the second 7prc for my youngest son now but got distracted by the BSU game. It will wear the same scope.
