I am doing a little loading for a buddies upcoming moose hunt up to the Yukon. He insists he wants 180/200 gr partitions loaded. I am trying to get him to shoot 180 or 200 gr Accubonds. I have no experience with either as I shoot strictly BT's. What is the best bullet for moose. thanks

Either bullet will do just fine. I would choose the most accurate in that gun.

Based on my experience with 2 of the 4 bullets, but in different calibers, I would go with the 200g AB. Im betting it will still penetrate a moose lengthwise. I have shot 3 elk with the combo out of my 300 RUM at 3200fps and it does not even seem to slow that bullet down a bit. I also shot 2 elk with the 180g part out of a 300 wm at 3100fps as well. Those 2 elk also bit the dust and didn't seem to slow that bullet down much either. Based on my limited experience of bullet testing, there seems to be little difference in weight retention wise and penetration wise between a Partition and a AccuBond. Any of them will work, just pick one and make sure it shoots, then he should have his moose.
