.300 Win 175 LRX at 3200 anyone?

N570 may as well be Green Moon Cheese right now, ha. I do have a bit of N560 my current loads aren't accurate enough. Thank you for taking the time to post the info Pard!
Midway had some a week ago. I snagged a couple of LBS's

When I finally got out to the range last time, Ramshot Magnum did a fine job for me. I didn't get to clock it, but I'm guessing I'm "close enough" to 3200 with this rifle, ha. It sure was accurate through, got better and better, from 85 to 87gr, where I stopped. Thanks for the heads up on Midway, but by the time I got there, no dice on N570. I tell you...pixie dust! ha

I normally use one of the 4350 powders in my 300 Win Mag.s. 72.0grs has always worked good for me with 180gr bullets.A couple of years ago,I tried Ramshot Hunter. That powder works really good too.
24" Bergara

26" Sako

I like that Hunter powder, but never tried it in my 300WM. I'm still wondering how well it would work in freezing weather. I prefer to work up loads in summer/early Fall, then clock them again when temps drop. Had too much going on this year to do that, so just went with a known Temp stable (pretty much anyhow) powder.

I'm looking for a load ( I always work up to it, no fear) with a temp stable powder that gets and honest 3200fps with the 175 LRX? I normally hunt around freezing, maybe a bit cooler. I used R23 but only got 3100 or so. I have an assortment of Magnum. R17, R16, H4831, H4350, IMR 7828, and so forth. I have some rounds to try with IMR 7828, anyone like this powder for that? My plan is to get all the "oomph" I can from this combo. But if the IMR powders are stable enough (in the magnum) I'll set up for one of them. I have a new Leupold 2.5x8 with the dial em in turret I will set up for this one load. (I decided to shoot all the oddball weights on my shelf/styles with my 30-06.
IMR 4831 @ 74.0
WLR primer
WW cases
300 Win Mag
175/180
Excellent bullet 175 LRX

I used alot of IMR4831 years ago, when I still lived in SE Tex. I worked up loads in .280 and 30-06 in summertime. I later killed game in our mild wintertime, but still right at or a tad below freezing. I could never tell any difference, ha. Thanks pard and Merry Christmas!

Velocity???
3075 to 3100 fps in 24”
This load was actually originated by Finn Aagaard with the 180gr Nosler BT
3.390” coal
Ensure you use WLR primers and WW cases if you use Magnum primers you will have a jump in pressure. I have used this load for years in several 300 Win Mag rifles and looking back at old data it’s very close to the Orginal 300 Win Mag load .
That 175 LRX is a very good bullet in the 30-06 and 300 Win Mag. I load it for my son for his 30-06 using my old M72 load data of 47.2 of IMR 4895 in LC brass.
