300 Win Hornady Max Load

What does the Hornady Manual list as the Max Load with 180gr in the 300 Win Mag with Reloader 22 and what primer did they use?

The Hornday maunual 7th edition shows for a 180 gr w/ RL-22 a starting load of 63.5gr @2500fps and a max load of 76gr @3000fps. This is using a Hornaday/Frontier case, Win WLRM primer and a COL of 3.340". Getting ready for spring bear? I just moved from Anchorage to Minot ND.

Just checking on my present load......using 75.5 of RL 22 with a 180 Norma SP in the 300 Win.

Big Move.......why did you go to ND.

You should be just fine. I have used 76 gr for years!

I am in the Air Force. I got transfered to Minot. Nothing like going from being surronded in mountains to being surrounded in prairie grass. Will be coming back to AK. I have a cabin in the Caribu Hills down by Homer and part owner on a 32' boat out od Whittier. Don't think I will make it up this summer for the Saolmond though, I have to go to Mississippi for 2 months for some training. Maybe come up for deer out in the sound this fall, don't realy know for sure.
