300 WSM 165grn loads.

I am going to start working up some loads for next years elk hunt, using 165grn AccuBond, i have RL17, RL19, IMR4350, and Magpro, does anyone have some good loads for those since the only one of those that is in the book is IMR4350. Thanks

...I'm using 68grs. of RL-17 (max. load) in 3 different .300 WSM's @ 3200fps w/ a number of different 165gr. bullets & getting sub-MOA w/ most. The 165gr. Accubonds seem to want to shoot, & I think I could get them to tighten up considerable w/ a little "tweeking" (seating depth, fine tuning the powder charge), but the 165gr. Sierra HPBT GameKings shoot very well outta all 3 rifles, & kill things about as dead as they're gonna get, so I haven't pursued development on the Accubonds...

...I've noticed that the .300 WSM's I've been shooting seem to favor higher velocities/ pressure, & perform @ near max./ max. loads...

Near max gives the best accuracy in the WSMs. Watch out, though, as you are tickling the dragon's tail. He can turn and burn you very quickly.
