I just loaded some 168 gr BST's to run in some 300 wsm rifles. I'm not sure why I did as I've always used 180's and they work really well. Maybe just to use some bullets up because shooting is always a good thing.
Anyone have any opinions or personal experience using this bullet over a 180?

It is really hard for me to even shoot these because I have used 180gr in all my 30 cal magnums. Shot great groups and also killed countless game.

So why?

Uh, so now you've got an excuse to spend some quality time at the range??? And just think, when you get done you can load up some 180s..........

That kinda logic has always worked well for me!

+1

The 168 gr BT has a nice BC and would make for a nice long range deer and antelope load.

Hey JD, I never shot the 168 but I did use the 150gr BT out of a 300wm the first 5 years I hunted in MS. That's what sold me on the BTs. I would imagine that the 168s would be one hole shooters with a decent rifle and some good handloads.
