I was wonder If anyone could run some numbers for me? The Barnes manual doesn't list anything for H4350 and the 150gr. TTSX.

Thanks,
Jager1

Well, Hodgdon lists a load for the Speer 150gr Grand Slam using H4350. You could start with the start charge from that and work up carefully, watching for pressure signs. You can find that load at data.hodgdon.com. Beyond that, reach out to the folks at Barnes via email and they can offer you more direct guidance.

I've loaded the untipped 150 with IMR4831 @ 3394 fps.
Load from a Disk
H4350-Max 61.5grns@46165 CUP(copper crusher)
QuickLoad
H4350-Max 68 grns@63247 CIP(Piezo)

Barnes #3 lists H4350:

Start Charge - 63.5gr
Velocity - 2973
Max Charge - 68.5gr
Velocity - 3207

Bear in mind, these loads are for the original X-bullet and the X Boat Tail, not the TSX or the TTSX. Work up carefully and expect velocities to be a little lower with the TSX/TTSX due to the driving bands in the bullet. You should be fine with this data (as a start charge) and it compares relatively closely with the Hodgdon data I referenced above. Just work up carefully. Good luck with the loading.

Happy to help. My only stipulations are, A) Work up carefully, and B) Post your results so we can all benefit!

I'm sure you will do both, so no worries! Good luck with the loading!

Could you guys also run some min/max numbers for H4831/150gr. AB's PLEASE!

Thank You,
Jager1

Went to the range the other day to give the H4350 a try and it looks like the 67.5 charge could be the winner. I had 3 touching and a flyer 3/4" away. I will try to post some pics.

Thanks a lot guys,

Sounds like a winner to me. Might have to try some 150 ETs out of my 300. Could be interesting.

And the case didn't rupture? I calculate a charge of around 72 grains and a Pmax of 75K + psi! That is dangerously high pressure.

Here it is guys Thanks!
