Hi, I am new to the forum as of today! Last weekend I took some new loads I worked up. Loads came from Nosler #5, Rifle Magazine
Case- WW
Primer- 215M (Replaced WLRM, I like the Match primers better!!!)
Powder- IMR4831- 65.5gr.
Bullet- 180gr. AccuBond
COAL- 2.880... From Rifle Magazine 3" 300 WSM does it Matter

I called three fliers in a nine shot group. The 6 shots measured 0.478 at 100 yards off of Caldwell bags!

Went out yesterday and shot it again. I fired a 3 shot group, it measured 0.364 off the same bags. It was <40 degrees and the wind was around 15 MPH.

Welcome to the board.
Sounds like you have a real shooter. With that load and accuracy, you are ready to hunt North America! What kind of scope are you using?
Good shooting.

Leupold VX-III 2.5-8, Leupold mounts and rings. I also full lengthed glass bedded the action to help.

Great scope! I have a couple of them myself.
I had Leupold put the M1 dials on one for my 338 RUM so I can now dial exact ranges. Sweet set up.

Good luck this hunting season!

My Kimber MT 8400 also shoots the 180 AB into bitty groups. However, as an all-around hunting projectile I have little confidence in the AccuBond. Rather than get hung up on paper accuracy I've opted to use the 180 Partition. Accuracy is still in the .8" range and velocity 2,960 fps.

That's a bullet a guy can have confidence in, antelope to elk!
