What would be a good powder for 300 wsm . with 180 AB. or 165 PT. trying to work up a good load for elk season this year ,Tikka Forester rifle . Thanks Geo.

I've had great luck with RL17 and Hybrid 100V is showing a lot of promise.

I have had good luck with h4350 and re19. Imr4350 and re17 would work as well.

W760 and H414 and W780 supreme. the 300 WSM was built around 760 by Winchester. Look for loads that have a 95-100 % fill rate as it likes a full case. both my rifles like near max loads with both 165 and 180gr pills

RL26 might be real amazing too. 17 was my go to when I shot a 300 WSM. Fast and very accurate.

I have imr 4350 ,imr4831sc,re19,h4831,varget here on the shelf .Thanking i'm going to start with imr 4350 if need be ill get some re17 or hybrid 100v do both of these powders have pretty constant burn rates and are they very temp. sensitve ?

I've tried most of the listed powders with both a 180 grain Partition and 180 grain Gameking in my Kimber Montana (24 inch barrel). I ended up using 64 grains of RL17 as 200 yard accuracy was excellent (1 1/4" groups) and a velocity of 3030FPS.
