I have been working on my 300 wsm. I have a good 110 grain hornady vmax load worked up using h380, but I have not been able to work up a good 165 - 180 grain load yet. I have tried Hornady interbonds and swift scicciros and R 19 and IMR 4350. I have not been able to consistantly get my groups down as tight as I was with the 110's.

My rifle has a 1 in 11 twist (Tikka t3), what is the optimal weight/ velocity for this twist?

Does anyone have a good powder or bullet they have had luck with. I want a pretty high BC and about 165 - 180 grains.

Thanks for the advice in advance

Mark.

My 300WSM seems to shoot best using either the 165 or 180 AccuBond when loaded over H 4350 powder.

I use Winchester brass, Fed 215M primers, and weigh every charge.

Try the Accubonds, my buddies and I have gotten good groups out of them in 300WSM rifles and 300 RUM rifles as well.
