Follow normal load data for 180 grain bullets? Any paticulars to keep in mind with the Etips?

Thanks

Follow the normal data and be prepared to stop at mid-range as a max. I've found that slower powders work well for my E-Tip use. Give them significant jump into the rifling, as well (on the order of .010" of jump). Work up carefully and you'll be fine.

I have read reports where guys have hit the wall on pressure about 2.5 grains under their favorite loads with that bullet. Nosler says to use starting data and that "mid" data may be max.
For me the 150 e tip performed much like other 150's but that 180 is one long sucker and I would heed the above advice for now.

Thanks guys,,

I'll just load a couple at a time and start low,,, will have to have them off the lands as mag lenght will be the limiting factor it seems in my gun. They sure are long but that should equal a great BC.

The mid loads are your MAX loads for the E-Tip. Set the E-Tip .100" off the lands for a starting point.
